Did yous know: The Historically Underutilized Business Zone (HUBZone) Programme helps small businesses in both urban and rural areas get priority access to federal contracting opportunities!

The SBA Arkansas District Office volition discuss the application procedure and benefits of the HUBZone federal contracting program with OGCBD.

The Historically Underutilized Business Zone (HUBZone) Plan's goal is to encourage chore creation and majuscule investment in small businesses in economically challenged areas. With a goal of providing at least three percent (iii%) of federal contract funds to HUBZone-certified companies each year, the HUBZone programme promotes modest business organization growth in previously neglected business zones. It too provides preference to businesses that are in full and open up competition. The Small Business Administration has made it easier for qualified small firms to bring together the HUBZone program.

Of course, there are requirements to join this plan. Allow the SBA Arkansas District Office, with the SBA Office of General Contracting and Business Development, explain the program and how your business can receive help with federal contracting at this virtual training workshop!
