Tools needed:

• Gloves
• Pigment scrapper
• Sponge
• Bucket (for water)
• Steel wool
• Floor protection
• Peel away (5 gallon)
• 2 paint scrapers

Directions:

1. Dust all remnants off fireplace with broom. Remove fireplace hearth
2. Carefully (and make sure y'all're wearing gloves & have on proper protection) apply peel away to unabridged fireplace covered in paint. You will want to utilize evenly on summit of fireplace. Brand sure you lot do non affect the peel abroad and brand certain all parts are covered. We recommend doing one half of fireplace at a time.
3. Once peel away is applied one half , apply paper covering to fireplace (peel away will provide). Yous volition want to seal entire fireplace.
4. Repeat steps 2 & three for other half of fireplace
5. Permit peel away absorb on fireplace for 48 hours! (The hardest & about tedious part but exercise not cheat!)
6. After 48 hours, brand sure floors are covered and gloves are back on! Remove paper from fireplace. You'll find gobs of paint coming off…. that ways information technology worked!
7. Take a paint scrapper and carefully scrape remnants into trash can
8. Add table salt mixture provided in peel away tub to clean water in bucket. With a clean sponge, dip into salt mixture h2o and wipe unabridged fireplace.
